Within the scope of the Project to Increase the Resilience and Capacity of Women's Cooperatives and Women Entrepreneurs in Gaziantep, which began in 2022 and continued in 2023 and 2024, the Gaziantep Chamber of Commerce (GTO) and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) collaborated to provide capacity and business development training, product development consulting, brand & marketing consulting, and mentorship services tailored to the needs of the target group to women entrepreneurs, women entrepreneur candidates, and women's cooperatives in Gaziantep.
Our project, which has made significant contributions to the economic empowerment of women, was awarded the best project award in the gender equality category at the 13th World Chambers Competition organised by the World Chambers Federation in 2023 and became the world champion. This award is a great endorsement and support for the project to gain more recognition internationally and in the business world.
