Uganda Country Day Held at Gaziantep Chamber of Commerce
The event highlighted Uganda’s investment, trade, and tourism opportunities while exploring ways to strengthen bilateral commercial relations, encourage mutual investment, and develop sectoral partnerships.
Uganda Country Day was held at the Gaziantep Chamber of Commerce with the participation of H.E. Nusura Tiperu, Ambassador of Uganda to Ankara, and Taner Özdurak, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of GTO.
The programme focused on Uganda’s investment, trade and tourism potential. Participants discussed opportunities for strengthening commercial cooperation between the two countries, prospects for mutual investment, and potential areas for sectoral partnerships.
As part of the event, Nelson Kasigaire, Counsellor at the Embassy of Uganda, delivered a presentation entitled “Investment and Tourism Opportunities in Uganda”. The presentation provided comprehensive information on Uganda’s investment climate, tourism opportunities, commercial potential, and the prospects available to the business community.
During the question-and-answer session, questions raised by GTO members regarding the Ugandan market, investment procedures, and potential areas of cooperation were addressed.
