Gaziantep EU Information Centre Brings Young People Together for European Mobility Week

Gaziantep EU Information Centre, operating under the Gaziantep Chamber of Commerce (GTO) as Türkiye’s first EU Information Centre since 1996, organized a lively event at Erikçe Adventure Park as part of European Mobility Week.
Held annually on 16–22 September by the European Commission, this year’s European Mobility Week took place under the theme “Mobility for All.” Young people from Gaziantep enjoyed a day full of activities while raising awareness on the importance of sustainable mobility for health, the environment, and community life.
Gaziantep EU Information Centre Coordinator Tuğçe Ayçil highlighted the week’s objectives, stressing the role of individual mobility in promoting an active lifestyle and the benefits of eco-friendly transport alternatives.
Erikçe Adventure Park Camp Director Ishak Akdağ, representing Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality’s Department of Education, Youth, and Sports, expressed his satisfaction with the collaboration, noting that the event offered young participants an enjoyable and meaningful experience in nature.
